On this day exploring both the ancient and natural world, you will visit the archeological site of Tulum before swimming with the turtles in Akumal. Start the day at Tulum with its vistas over the Caribbean Sea and temples honoring the gods of the wind and rain, learning about Maya history and cosmology, before heading just down the coast to Akumal to swim and snorkel in the waters where giant turtles come to feed.

Arrival to Cancun
Today you will be met at the Cancun airport and privately transferred to your boutique hotel in Tulum and your home for next 5 nights. At arrival immerse yourself in a blend of luxury and nature, in an unparalleled hideaway surrounded by a tropical forest and the ocean. Day 2
Sian Ka’an
Today you will enjoy a privately guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Biosphere Sian Ka’an. In the language of the Mayan peoples who once inhabited this region, Sian Ka’an means ‘Origin of the Sky’. Located on the east coast of the Yucatán peninsula, this biosphere reserve contains tropical forests, mangroves and marshes, as well as a large marine section intersected by a barrier reef. It provides a habitat for a remarkably rich flora and a fauna comprising more than 300 species of birds, as well as a large number of the region’s characteristic terrestrial vertebrates, which cohabit in the diverse environment formed by its complex hydrological system. In addition to exploring this tremendous and beautifully diverse area and swimming in the pristine mangroves, enjoy a privately guided tour of the spectacular beachfront Mayan ruins at Tulum.

Tulum and Couples Spa
Today is a beach day, revel in the spectacular beauty of your Caribbean settings and enjoy your day at leisure. Day 4
Cobá, Tulum, and the Sea Turtles of Akumal
Today you will be picked up in your hotel lobby by your expert guide and privately transferred in a private vehicle to Coba. Upon arrival and before entering the site your guide will explain the historical importance of Coba. After the visit we will continue to some of the best kept secrets of the area – the secluded underground cenotes, where you will be able to swim. Once you have enjoyed the refreshing waters you will continue on to a well deserved lunch (not included) before we head to Akumal where you will be snorkeling into the turquoise Caribbean sea (weather and sea conditions permitting) and have the chance to see wild turtles in their natural environment. You will have some free time at the beach before returning to your hotel.

Tulum
Today is yours at leisure to explore and swim on your protected bay and to enjoy the beach club and lounge bar. Tonight we recommend diner at dinner at Posada Margherita.

Rio Secreto
Depart Be Tulum and enjoy a ride to the fabulous Rosewood Mayakoba, your home for the next two nights in an Island Suite. En route, go underground to explore Rio Secreto. In this surreal locale near Playa del Carmen, you can observe natural history dating back millions of years as you hike and swim through a 600-meter route full of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites on this private tour. Go deep inside an underground cave, where you’ll experience true silence among some of the most dramatic mineral formations in the world.
