To start the day, you will be picked up from your hotel by your private, bilingual guide, and driven to the Tulum Archaeological Site.
Explore the ancient city of Tulum with your private bilingual guide, the only Mayan site with vistas over the Caribbean Sea. As you traverse the archeological zone, learn about Mayan history and cosmology, and observe the temples that were built hundreds of years ago to honor the gods of wind and rain.
After your time at the archaeological zone, you’ll continue around 35 minutes to the beautiful Yal-ku Lagoon in the Akumal area. Swim and snorkel in the tranquil inland lagoon, where fresh and salt water mix to create a home for many types of fish. After a refreshing swim, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Unique Adventure to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve
Thousands of years ago, the exceptional natural beauty along this stretch of coastline was so revered by the Mayans, that they named it Sian Ka´an, or, “The Place where Heaven Begins”. Today, Sian Ka´an is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Mexico´s largest protected areas, with 528,148 hectares of intricately linked marine, coastal and terrestrial ecosystems.
You’ll be picked up from your hotel by a private driver and driven to the entrance of the natural reserve to begin your guided visit. With your private guide, embark on an adventure into the northern reaches of the reserve, and learn all about its unique and diverse ecosystem.
Experience manmade canals carved by the Mayan civilization, along with various temples used to control the once-busy commercial trade routes, that connected mighty Mayan cities like Cobá and Muyil. Visit the iconic Pyramid of Kukulkan, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, the Platform of the Skulls, and the ball court, where the outcome of the game is still debated. Outside the city, explore a cenote used for sacrificial drownings.
