Mar Adentro near San Jose del Cabo in Los Cabos was created with simplicity, comfort and elegance in mind – relaxing ocean views and an all-white aesthetic.
Designed by renowned Mexico City architect Miguel Angel Aragones, Mar Adentro was created under the concept that individuals should become one with their surroundings. Stark white structures appear to rise out of the water generating a seamless link between the sea and the land.
The hotel, which opened in January 2016, has 189 suites set across a number of buildings. The rooms are minimalist in design. Materials such as marble, glass and lightwoods are set against stark white walls and white linens to create a clean-lined yet comfortable living space.
The infinity pool overlooks the sea and all around it sit extravagant white sun loungers with billowing shade covers. Drinks and snacks can be ordered by the pool or on the beach or you can head to the restaurant for a more formal dinner. The spa offers a wide range of treatments to help you fully relax during your vacation and the fitness center is perfect for those who like to keep up their fitness regime while away.
Sushi lovers can enjoy freshly made sushi at the Nido restaurant.
