On this day exploring both the ancient and natural world, you will visit the archeological site of Tulum before swimming with the turtles in Akumal. Start the day at Tulum with its vistas over the Caribbean Sea and temples honoring the gods of the wind and rain, learning about Maya history and cosmology, before heading just down the coast to Akumal to swim and snorkel in the waters where giant turtles come to feed.

  • 07:30 Meet your tour guide and private transfer from your hotel to Tulum (start time depends on distance of hotel location)
  • 08:30 Arrive to Tulum and start visit
  • 10:00 End of visit and transfer to Akumal
  • 10:30 Snorkeling with Turtles
  • 12:00 End of Snorkeling tour and time for lunch
