Day 1

Arrival to Cancun where you will be met by your guide and taken in private vehicle to the ferry dock to Chiquila and then by boat to Isla Holbox (pronounced hol-bosh), which takes approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival to this tranquil island, you will be transported to your quaint eco-friendly hotel. (Dinner Included)

Day 2

After breakfast, you will go on private tour snorkeling to swim with the elusive whale sharks that are found here from June to September during their annual migration. The docile animals range between 10 and 65 feet! You will have a box lunch during the tour. We will again have dinner in the hotel after our private whale shark tour. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included)

Day 3

After breakfast, you will go on another whale shark snorkeling tour to spend more time with these amazing creatures. We will have a box lunch during the tour. After the excursion, we will be transported to ferry to Chiquila and then take private overland transportation to Chichen Itza (approximately 3 hours). Upon arrival, we will be transported to our hotel. Dinner will be in the hotel this evening. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included)

Day 4

After breakfast at 8:00 am, you will treated to a visit to the world renowned Mayan archeological site of Chichen Itza. Your expert guide will explain the amazing achievements of the Mayan civilization and discuss the different theories of the rise and fall of the dynamic Mayan civilization. Afterward, we will visit a beautiful limestone sinkhole nearby called Ikkil that is great for an afternoon swim before enjoying local fare at a quaint restaurant. We will then return to the hotel to relax before dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included)

After breakfast, we will drive (2:30 hours) to the Cancun airport for your flight homewards. Please do not book departure flights earlier than 1pm. (Breakfast Included)
