Itinerary



Day 1

Private Transfer from Mexico City Airport to your Mexico City Hotel Today you will be met by your driver outside of customs (international flights) or after leaving the secured area of the terminal (domestic flights) and privately transferred to your Mexico City hotel.

Day 2

Private Teotihuacan & Shrine of Guadalupe Tour You will be met in the hotel lobby for a privately guided tour of the stunning archaeological zone of Teotihuacan, famous for the world’s 3rd and 4th largest pyramidal structures, the enormous Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. Your guide will enhance your experience with expert explanations of the importance of the site and its place in the rich history of Mexico’s many layers of pre-Columbian civilizations. Your privately guided tour includes a visit to the Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Afternoon return to your hotel and dinner and evening on your own.

Day 3

Flight from Mexico City to Merida. Private Transfer from Merida Airport to Hacienda Xcanatun. Private Half Day Tour of Merida City You will be picked up at the hotel lobby for a private tour of the historic center of Merida (3.5 -4:00 hrs.) including the main plaza (zócalo), markets, museum of Canton Palace, the Cathedral, the Monumento a la Patria (Monument to the Fatherland)and Paseo Montejo, designed to emulate the Champs Elysees.

Day 4

Private Full Day Tour of Puuc Route and Loltun Caves You will be picked up at 9:00 AM in the hotel lobby for a private tour of the Ruta Puuc - Puuc Route and the Loltun Caves(6-8:00 hrs), including the delightful archaeological site of Uxmal and 4 other smaller but significant ancient 'towns' of Kabah, Sayil, Xlapak and Labna.

Day 5

Private Full Day Tour of Campeche and Edzna You will be picked up at 9:00 AM in the hotel lobby for a private tour of the historic center of Campeche (6-8:00 hrs.) including the main plaza (zócalo), markets, Francisco de Paula Toro Theater and Campeche's Cathedral. Visit the archaeological site of Edzna with its remarkable building at the plaza; the main temple.

Day 6

Private Full Day Tour of Chichen Itza with drop off at the Ritz Carlton Cancun You will be picked up at 9:00 AM in the hotel lobby for a privately guided tour of the archeological site of Chichen Itza (6-8:00 hrs), one of the most awe-inspiring archaeological places you are likely to visit.

Day 7

Private Tour to Tulum & Coba Tulum: Considered to be one of the most beautiful Mayan archaeological sites, Tulum is by no means the largest, but its location serves as a striking backdrop to its history. The only Mayan archaeological site to be in use at the time of the Spanish conquest, Tulum, means wall in Mayan. Also known as Zama, or city of dawn, this beautiful site sits on 15-meter high cliffs above the sea. Coba: The Maya built many intriguing cities in the Yucatán, but few grander than Cobá ("water stirred by wind"). Much of the 67-sq.-km (26-sq.-mile) site remains unexcavated. A 100km (62-mile) sacbé (a pre-Hispanic raised road or causeway) through the jungle linked Cobá to Yaxuná, once an important Maya center 50km (30 miles) south of Chichén Itzá.

Day 8

Private Tour to Sian Ka'an via Muyil Visit the unique sites of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, Yucatan's most important protected area. Here you will cross the lagoon by boat to discover birds and different vegetations and visit Xlapak, a Mayan temple. You even have the possibility to swim through the channels. Make use of a life vest and go with the freshwater stream. Learn more about the Mayan history by visiting the temple of Muyil and explore the hidden secrets in one of our beautiful cenotes.

Day 9

Private Ek Balam & Valladolid Tour: You will be picked up at 9:00 AM in the hotel lobby for a private tour (approximately 6-8 hrs.) of the archeological site, Ek Balam. After touring the site you will have time for lunch (not included) before returning to your hotel.

Day 10

Private Transfer from the Ritz Carlton Cancun to Cancun Airport.
