Journey Mexico Local Shelter Visit

Puerto Vallarta Orphanage

On Oct. 12th of this year, the Journey Mexico staff visited the Puerto Vallarta AGAPE, which is a local shelter for young ladies in need run by JM trip planner Karina Huet‘s mother, Katalina Huet. After Mrs. Huet gave us a tour of the orphanage, JM president, Zachary Rabinor, gave a speech to the young ladies about the experiences and opportunities of Mexico that inspired Zach to start Journey Mexico and move into the country. Following, we showed the girls Willy Sousa’s inspiring video, “Visit Mexico,” and then outlined an activity which is shown in the video re-cap (below) of the day. More information about the shelter can be found at www.agape.com.mx.
